Please give me a moment of your time and read this all the way through. I usually do not respond so vehemently to e-mails like this, but in this particular case, I feel I MUST… to honor fallen hero SGT. PATRICK STEWART (deceased). I hope that got your attention. (If you are on the CC list and can see your e-mail address, that is because I merely copied all the public CCs from the e-mail itself. If you are on the BCC list, you cannot see your e-mail address because you are a friend of mine, I thought this would interest you in case you received a version of it too, and so I kept your info private/confidential. I have also cut out all photos, to make it smaller.)

I am disgusted by what I read. This e-mail is a lie. The ACLU believes very deeply in the cherished value of religious freedom, and the right of all Americans to practice the religion of their choosing — or to practice no religion at all — freely and without fear or compulsion

There was/is NO such lawsuit concerning headstones. Family members of our honored deceased Veterans can select an emblem of religious belief, if they wish, to be inscribed on the headstone or marker. Currently, there are 39 differnt emblems from which to choose. The symbols include different types of crosses, the star of David, the Muslim crescent and star, the Buddhist Wheel of Righteousness, symbols for atheists and secular humanists… and MY chosen symbol for which I can THANK the ACLU! You see, in 2006, the ACLU helped the families of three deceased veterans sue the National Cemetery Administration to ADD the Wiccan symbol, a PENTAGRAM, to the list of approved emblems. The administration DID end up adding the symbol, which is an outward expression of my own personal religious beliefs.

Teddy Bear Skirt From Repurposed Fabric

This is an adult small to medium skirt made from a repurposed shirt and cotton fabric salvaged from a thrift store bin. The shirt was a soft cotton blend knit in a milk chocoloate heather color. The teddy bear fabric is cotton. There’s a felt applique of a teddy with machine and hand stitching on it, and big button eyes.

A fun item to wear on a hot day or put it over leggings for a cute look.

These skirts are so cute. All are made from repurposed clothing, mostly t-shirts, and fabric salvaged from thrift store fabric bins. The result is cute and flirty skirts that are one of a kind fashion statements. I think they’d look great over a pair of black leggings but bare legs would be cooler on a hot summer day.
